We treat the following injuries

Hip and Groin Injuries

Hip InjuriesThe hips are the largest joints in the human body, a structure that is most commonly involved in groin injuries and hip injuries. The joint and the stabilizing soft tissues are typically the sites injured when a patient experienced what has come to be known as a pulled groin. With contusions, hematomas and muscular tears also common with such types of acute injuries, this region of the body is prone to physical therapy, chiropractic care and massage therapy at the Bloor Dufferin Rehabilitation Centre Toronto rehabilitation centre. Because the groin is also an area where the abdomen meets the legs, other parts of the human body may be at risk of multiple afflictions as a result of these injuries.

Athletes are the most prone segment of the population to hip injuries and groin injuries, many experiencing them as a result of rough sports, physical contact and excessive exertion of the body during such activities. However, these injuries are not limited to professionals, but are also common in amateur sports and organized regional and local leagues of multiple sports. Being so prone to these injuries, the medical experts at the Bloor Dufferin Rehabilitation Centre centre have gone through many rehabilitation and physical therapy experiences with such injuries, all caused by the same commonly repeating incidents that most athletes experience.

Groin InjuriesAcross the Greater Toronto Area, large segments of males and females participate in a variety of sports leagues and sports activities of all difficulty levels. Some are amateur, some organized, and some are through workplace activities and social efforts. In each case, most people do not realize the need and importance for stretching exercises and physical fitness in the sports they are practicing. This is how people become patients of the Bloor Dufferin Rehabilitation Centre, and how our Toronto rehabilitation centre begins to play a role in the treatment and rejuvenation of hip injuries and groin injuries, which may also be coupled with other injuries along the way.

For some patients, repetition of the same injuries becomes a common experience, and the dangers of such experiences drives our staff to diagnose problems with the intention of providing the best medical assistance to the patients. Ultimately, whether you live or participate in sports across Mississauga, Toronto, Etobicoke, Brampton, Woodbridge, Scarborough or North York, everyone plays out with the same level of competition and aggressiveness that opens the door to repeated cases of injury and afflictions that eventually end up at the doors of Bloor Dufferin Rehabilitation Centre in our Toronto rehabilitation centre.
